]]> Chris Stelly is the executive director of Louisiana Entertainment, the division of Louisiana Economic Development focused on growing the state’s film, interactive, and music industries. Filmmakers who’ve shot in the area know Louisiana Entertainment as the entity that administers the state’s popular incentives program, which offers tax credits to qualifying productions. Those tax credits can amount to over 30% of what a film spends in state, and if a production uses mostly local talent and crew, then that number is closer to 40% or more.
