After landed a recurring role on the Starz series Magic City, Garrett was able to turn acting into a full-time career.

Some of his other notable projects include Bonnie & Clyde, which was the third most-watched basic cable miniseries of all time, and Deepwater Horizon, where he played Karl Kleppinger Jr., one of the 11 workers who died when the rig erupted.

Kristin is a New Orleans musician with a distinct sound. Depending on who you ask, she plays country, blues, or southern rock and sounds sort of like Patsy Kline, Neko Case, or Stevie Nicks, but Kristin doesn’t care about the labels. She just wants to make music that expresses her truest self. You can hear that in her music and see it in the film, a story about a musician trying to reconnect with the things that really matter.

Forever Waves is a collaborative effort between Jeff and Kristin, built on a 10-year-old friendship.  It’s the kind of rare project that only comes about when two artists take the time to understand each other’s sensibilities and build something together based on that understanding.
