Quixote P.A. Bootcamp trains aspiring filmmakers to work on set as assistant directors and production assistants. The Executive Director of P.A. Bootcamp is Jody Brockway, a producer and former Vice President of Movies and Mini Series at NBC. Chuck Canzoneri is one of the instructors, and a production assistant who has worked in the industry for over 10 years on shows like Arrested Development, Medium, and The Office. Leigh Paonessa is another P.A. Bootcamp instructor, and she has experience as a Set PA, Second Assistant Director and Background coordinator on films including X-Men: First Class, Transformers, and Anchorman.
All three join us on this episode to share their filmmaking perspectives. They offer suggestions to directors, crew, and actors who want to provide better on-set experiences for themselves and their colleagues. They also provide some insights into the timeless question suggested by the nuns from The Sound of Music: how do you catch a cloud and pin it down?! In other words, what, if any, resolution can be offered regarding the troublesome celebrity question?
Well… you’ll have to listen to find out!
