Scene Magazine covers the entertainment industry in Louisiana, Texas, and Georgia, and they also put together some of the biggest fashion shows and parties around town. Editor in Chief of the magazine, Micah Haley, took some time to share the vision of Scene with us.
In this episode, we talk about some tips about getting more coverage in a publication, how to talk to movie stars at events, and ways that we can support the entertainment industry in Louisiana. (If you have a few dollars set aside and take action before Thursday, Nov 27, there’s even a way to get Scene to produce your next short film!)

Hey Nick,
Enjoyed your interview with Micah and hearing of his evolving role as an “artist agent” in Louisana’s creative economy– from aspirant to participant to “investor”. I thought his comments about the “hidden” economy that exists as a consequence of the film industry were particularly interesting. It is important for people to be aware of such benefits when they consider the total value of a project, endeavor or enterprise. I look forward to seeing what his study uncovers.
Also, love my Poe nickname!
Have a great holiday, NIck!
